Nestlé opened its first Brazilian factory in Araras 98 years ago.
Nestlé S.A., Switzerland, invested R$1 billion in São Paulo, Brazil, over the next three years to install a new line in the Caçapava and Araçatuba factories, new technologies applied to factories and products, digital transformation initiatives and startup acceleration. A partnership with Investe São Paulo, a program of the São Paulo investment and competitiveness promotion agency, is also expected to foster other initiatives.
Nestlé opened its first Brazilian factory in Araras 98 years ago. Over the past five years, the company has invested more than R$2 billion in the state, including the Purina wet pet food factory in Ribeirão Preto. It also consistently invested in technological development.
