Trilogy Warehouse Partners and Refrig-IT Join Forces

Partnership expands cold chain warehousing and supply chain services throughout the imported F&B value chain.

Trilogy Refrig-IT Partnership
February 8, 2020

Trilogy Warehouse Partners (TWP) has partnered with Refrig-IT, to facilitate continued growth and expansion of its cold chain business. Trilogy Warehouse Partners, based in St. Louis, Missouri, is a leading provider of warehousing and supply chain management services to the food and beverage, consumer, healthcare and industrial markets.

TWP manages both food grade and non-food grade facilities and handles dry, frozen, and perishable products across all aspects of the food storage supply chain for retail grocers, food manufacturers and food distributors as well as a variety of other consumer and industrial customers. The Company was founded in 2013 by Hilton Kahn, Rick Baker and Quin Brewer and today manages 8 warehouses in Missouri and Illinois. Refrig-IT, is a niche provider of cold chain warehousing and supply chain services to customers throughout the imported food and beverage value chain. Refrig-IT is based in Kearny, New Jersey and serves customers predominately in the Northeast.

R.L.Hulett & Company (“RLH”) acted as exclusive financial advisor to TWP for the deal. Refrig-IT is part of the portfolio of Tilia Holdings, a Chicago-based private equity firm focused on making control investments in the lower middle market across the global food supply chain. Tilia's investment thesis for this deal was that by combining Refrig-IT and TWP, a number of operational synergies can be achieved along with the ability to offer customers managed warehousing services across a broader footprint in the Midwest and the Northeastern parts of the U.S.
