There's no need to go out for lunch. Kraft Foods Inc., Northfield, Ill., says new Oscar Mayer Deli Creations Foccacia Sandwiches turn any desk into a "four-star 'desk' taurant."
Kraft Foods' U.S. Convenient Meals sector -- home to DiGiorno frozen pizza and Oscar Mayer meats -- was a bright spot in an otherwise challenging fourth quarter.
Citing a need to trim costs, Kraft Foods Inc., Northfield, Ill., said it soon expects to eliminate 400 jobs, or about 1 percent of its 46,000-employee North American workforce.
Oscar Mayer Deli Creations Flatbread Sandwiches are made with deli meats, natural cheese, specialty sauces and a proprietary rising dough recipe that keeps bread soft in the microwave, according to Kraft Foods.
