US Foods, Rosemont, Ill., announced plans to acquire Jeraci Foods, an Italian specialty distributor based in Elmsford, N.Y.
The distribution center will open Jan. 2, 2017, and will initially serve 750 customers in the Kentucky, Tennessee and southern Indiana and Ohio markets.
