The Refrigerated Foods Association (RFA) announced new leaders at their recent Virtual Awards Ceremony. Lauren Edmonds of St. Clair Foods will take over as President, following Josh Knott of Knott’s Foods’ term in office. Karen Bishop Carbone, Boston Salads & Prepared Foods Corporation, will serve as Vice President and Conference Chair. Tom Davis, Lakeview Farms will continue his role as Treasurer, and Mark Rosenfield of Reser’s Fine Foods will serve as the group’s Secretary and Chair of the Communications Committee.

SpartanNash announced it has realigned its BRT Indianapolis and Managed Freight Minnesota teams into one organization and rebranded as SpartanNash Logistics. Carrier Transicold will accelerate and advance its electrification capabilities through a new strategic partnership with Portuguese technology company AddVolt. The agreement enables Carrier to broadly utilize AddVolt’s engine-agnostic technology to develop innovative sustainable transport refrigeration solutions for customers in Europe.

AFFI advocates on behalf of the $65.1 billion frozen food industry before legislative and regulatory entities, elevates the attributes of frozen foods and drives solutions for innovation by providing opportunities for industry leaders to convene.
