Cold storage sites are booming at the crossroads of the country.

The first project is a Class-A speculative freezer/cooler facility located in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex area.

Combined, the facilities offer 12 million cubic feet of storage. 

Cold Storage Construction installed more than 100,000 square feet of six-inch thick CF42 insulated metal panels.

Spanning nearly 20 million cubic feet with over 62,000 pallet positions, the distribution center’s innovations provide new levels of operational efficiency and reliability via automation.

Headquartered in Vaughan, Ontario, VersaCold is a cold chain leader that runs 24 temperature-controlled facilities comprising 114 million cubic feet of storage.

ESI Group USA is a nationwide design-build engineering and construction management firm dedicated to supporting companies that safely feed the world. 

They say everything’s bigger in Texas and the demand for cold storage is no different.

The building features 50 trailer parking stalls, 48 dock doors and 51,000 pallet positions.
