The exhibition market welcomes Dairytech, the brand new show specializing in cutting-edge technology and solutions for the dairy industry. Organized by Ipack-Ima Spa, the first edition will be part of the great event taking place at Fieramilano in 2015, which also includes IPACK-IMA, Meat-Tech, Fruitech Innovation, Converflex, Grafitalia and Intralogistica Italia (the latter in partnership with Deutsche Messe). Dairytech will showcase the full spectrum of the latest supply chain and processing technology for the dairy industry, from milk collection and storage to processing of finished products through to packaging and pre-sales preservation.
Dairytech will debut as part of an unparalleled event across the world. It brings up to seven the number of exhibitions taking place in the same location from May 19th to 23rd 2015.
All combined, they will showcase the entire industrial supply chain from processing machinery down to packaging, logistics, printing and communication.
Dairytech will be held in conjunction with the 2015 Universal Expo and after the debut edition it will continue to be staged every three years. Its potential public includes over 2,500 exhibitors and more than 100,000 visitors.
The dairy industry is one of the most important sectors in the Italian food industry. Today it is faced with increasingly complex challenges ranging from globalization processes, to new lifestyles leading to changes in food choices and habits, to the increasing importance and widespread attention to sustainability. The latter is the central theme of IPACK-IMA 2015 and of the highly specialized exhibitions connected to it.
In addition to technology, the new Dairytech will provide visiting industry professionals with key tools and strategies to stay competitive in a continuously evolving domestic and global market.
Some of the topics currently being studied by the scientific Committee – responsible for planning Dairytech’s calendar of side events and meetings – include food safety and supply chain sustainability.
