Eric Adams has been named Managing Director for the newly established Eriez Deutschland GmbH, based in Recklinghausen, Germany. In his new role, Adams will lead efforts to increase Eriez’ presence throughout central Europe, including Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
Eriez has promoted Gareth Meese to Regional Sales Director-EMEA. Meese, who formerly served as Eriez-Europe Sales Director, will now direct, align and support Eriez’ strategic sales efforts over a wider geography, including Europe, the Middle East, India and Northern Africa.
Eric Confer, Eriez Market Manager for Light Industries, says demand continues to grow from original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) for the company’s vibratory feeding solutions for integration into packaging systems. Confer says, “Packaging system OEMs rely on vibratory feeders to meter and convey a variety of bulky and free-flowing material to provide greater economy and efficiency in feeding and filling, and Eriez delivers.”
Industrial Magnetics, Inc. (IMI), Boyne City, Mich., completed its new, on-site R&D lab for simulated application testing of customer’s prospective holding, lifting, automation, conveying and magnetic separation projects.
Treofan developed a low-loss, thermally stable and safe separator for lithium-ion battery cells as part of its HiT-Cell (high-temperature cell) research project.
