Dorner has introduced 25 new fabric belts for AquaGard™, a line of stainless steel conveyors that offers maximum flexibility for a wide variety of products and applications while increasing throughput and reducing product loss.

Between its two series of sanitary conveyors – AquaGard and AquaPruf® – Dorner can now tackle virtually any food-related application, from packaged snacks through raw proteins and dairy. All Dorner stainless steel conveyors are designed for fast and effective cleaning and – because  they are pre-engineered – they can be shipped very quickly to meet food processors’ needs.

The new fabric belts complement Dorner's previous modular plastic belt offering. This new belted platform is designed to support a variety of applications like curing, cooling and small product transfer. Plus, it provides an ideal handling solution for so many different products -- whether they are small, in bulk, sticky, moist, delicate or fragile.

Says John Kuhnz, marketing manager, "The AquaGard platform can now essentially handle it all for bakery, snack other food markets while providing a slew of other benefits, including the fastest available speeds, flexible automation and industry-leading durability."

AquaGard is a belted conveyor available in straights, inclines, declines and z-frames. It includes a TIG-welded stainless steel frame with an open design and minimal horizontal surfaces. For added durability, the belt is supported by engineered hard coat anodized aluminum wear strips located in welded cross members. All materials utilized for AquaGard are FDA-approved and meet or exceed BISSC standards. – Dorner Manufacturing Corp.
