Food Logistics Forum Delivers Solutions

May 7, 2012

The Food Logistics Forum, co-hosted by AFFI and GCCA, is the place to be for those in search of solutions and connections needed to navigate today’s increasingly complex cold chain.

Sure, New Orleans may be the city of charm. What, with its bright lights, fiestas and old-fashioned Southern fare, it’s easy to get hypnotized by a town that just keeps getting better looking.

Soon, New Orleans will also be a temporary home to all things frozen.

The Food Logistics Forum, co-hosted by the American Frozen Food Institute (AFFI), McLean, Va., and the Global Cold Chain Alliance (GCCA), Alexandria, Va., is the place to be for those in search of solutions and connections needed to navigate today’s increasingly complex cold chain. The forum, which takes place June 3-5 at the Royal Sonesta Hotel in New Orleans, will bring together frozen food industry leaders from production, foodservice, retail and 3PL providers for an event filled with educational sessions, networking opportunities and a little bit of Southern charm.

Combining the resources of AFFI and GCCA, the Food Logistics Forum will provide participants the information and networking resources they need to navigate the ever-changing logistics landscape. Logistics professionals serving every link in the food chain-from transportation managers at frozen food manufacturing facilities to public refrigerated warehouse operators-will benefit from the educational resources, regulatory information and business development opportunities offered by this joint venture.
