Industrial Info Resources, Sugar Land, Texas, reported thatUS Foodservice, Rosemont, Ill., expects by June 2010 to complete a refrigerated warehouse expansion in Boca Raton, Fla. US Foodservice first announced the project in October 2007. At that time, officials said a planned 123,000-square-foot addition would take the operation to 300,000 square feet and boost employment to 200 people. US Foodservice said it plans to increase food distribution to the south Florida market.


RLS Logistics, Malaga, N.J., said has completed an expansion at its Malaga warehouse, which boosted storage capacity by 25 percent.

“This is the third phase of a company-wide expansion plan to handle the growing trend for frozen and perishable food storage in the Mid-Atlantic regions," said Kevin McVey, vice president of sales and marketing. "It reflects the company’s long-standing reputation for excellence, high standards of service, and quality solutions for customers."

RLS also operates cold storage warehouses in Pittston, Pa., and Vineland, NJ.
