Perdue Farms Donates 42,000 Pounds of Chicken to Help Hunger Relief in Baltimore
Perdue Farms has donated 42,000 pounds of chicken to help the Kingdom Worship Center in Baltimore in its ongoing mission to provide nutritious meals to underserved families amid the pandemic. The donation, which helped feed 5,000 families, is part of Perdue’s “Delivering Hope To Our Neighbors” hunger-relief initiative.
“Throughout the pandemic, the number of families struggling to put a nutritious meal on their tables has intensified, and that need continues for so many,” said Bishop Ralph Dennis of the Kingdom Worship Center in northeast Baltimore. “What are we going to eat? is a question that is often asked in many households. Each time we feed a family, we help meet that need. This is a moment where people feel hope. Perdue, through its generosity, is providing hope.”
