Amy’s Kitchen, maker of organic and plant-based foods, has hired Ritu Mathur as the company’s new Vice President of Marketing. In this role, Ritu will be critical in developing an integrated customer- and consumer-centric marketing division to help Amy’s continue to grow its brand.

Amy’s experienced unprecedented growth in 2020. And as evolving consumer preferences attract them to Amy’s core commitments—organic, plant based, sustainability—the company sees incredible opportunity to sustain that growth and continue to build upon it. In February 2021, Amy’s announced the hire of its first chief customer and consumer officer, Karen Jobb, as part of its commitment to supporting the growth of the business.

Ritu, who brings over a decade of experience in the food industry, is skilled at telling emotional, purpose-led narratives to build brand love and awareness combined with an analytical mindset. As a seasoned marketer and brand strategist, she has a demonstrated track record of building consumer love and loyalty. In the past, Ritu served as the senior director of marketing for the Luna brand at Clif Bar where she architected a values-based equal pay campaign and built key partnerships with the US Women's Soccer Team and Venus Williams to drive gender equality in sports. She also worked on the Outshine and Drumstick brands at Nestle. Most recently, Ritu served as a consultant to Peloton on its global brand strategy.
