Alpina, Udi's Partner to Present Restart Yogurt With Granola

March 30, 2012
Alpina Foods teamed up with Udi’s Gluten Free Foods to provide wholesome, gluten-free granola for its Restart brand of yogurt.

Artisan dairy manufacturer Alpina Foods, Batavia, N.Y., teamed up with Denver-based Udi’s Gluten Free Foods to provide wholesome, gluten-free granola for its Restart brand of yogurt.

“Adding Udi’s granola to Alpina Restart helps us raise the bar for quality in the yogurt aisle,” says Carlos Ramirez, general manager for Alpina Foods. “Together, Alpina and Udi’s Gluten Free offer the only convenient, all-in-one yogurt and certified gluten-free-granola snack.”

“Gluten-free is one of the most popular food movements today,” says Denise Sirovatka, vice president of marketing for Udi’s Gluten Free Foods. “By partnering with brands like Alpina, we can ensure that wholesome, healthy, gluten-free products are more widely available across all food categories.”

Alpina Restart yogurt comes in Strawberry, Blueberry, Vanilla and Peach flavors and offers 160 calories and 12 grams of protein. Plus, it is all-natural, fat-free, naturally gluten-free and rich in calcium without any refined sugars or artificial sweeteners.

They are available in the mid-Atlantic area at retailers such as Food Emporium, Zabars, Central Market, Westside Market and Whole Foods.
