TheOrganic Trade Association(OTA), Greenfield, Mass., said it hiredChristine Bushwayas the organization's executive director. As director of state programs, Bushway most recently directed the American Egg Board's "Incredible Edible Egg" consumer awareness campaign. She also has managed her own consulting business and served in several trade association and lobbying posts.
Said OTA President Julia Sabin, "With recent strengthening of OTA's organizational infrastructure and policy success with passage of the organic provisions in the 2008 Farm bill, the association is well positioned to continue ona growth trajectory, and Christine is the right leader for OTA at this time."
