J. P. Veggies Inc., Parsippany, N.J., a natural and vegetarian foods processor, announced that it has acquired the Franklin Farms, North Fankliln, Conn., brand of vegetarian products. J.P. Veggies manufactures the VeggieLand brand of products and already was processing Franklin Farms products such as mushroom and soy based meat alternative products. The company will continue to do so, making for what executives say will be a seamless transition.
