Supplier Shorts: Rovema, JBT in the news
Packaging equipment supplier Rovema Packaging USA, Lawrenceville, Ga., said Rovema GmbH, Fernwald, Germany, completed its Chapter 11 reorganization and now has new management and ownership.

JBT Corporation, Chciago, said its JBT FoodTech business signed a $6.5 million contract to supply poultry processing and freezing solutions for a new poultry processing plant in South Korea. The contract is with Charmfre Co. Ltd., a Korea-based producer of poultry products. JBT FoodTech said it will supply and integrate three full cooking and freezing lines for poultry products as well as two stand-alone freezers for poultry parts and two Revorack ovens for the cooking of whole ducks.
"We are very pleased with Charmfre's confidence in JBT's leading protein processing and freezing technologies," said Torbjorn Arvidsson, vice president and division manager for JBT FoodTech's Food Solutions and Services Division. "This project is another excellent example of how JBT FoodTech partners with customers to provide integrated systems to deliver a full range of poultry products."
JBT said it expects to complete the project in the first quarter of 2012.
