Stellar, a construction, design, engineering and mechanical services firm, celebrated its 25-year anniversary on July 1, 2010. Founded in 1985, Stellar began with only 12 employees and an emphasis on general contracting. Stellar says it now employs more than 500 and -- in addition to its Jacksonville, Fla., headquarters -- has 12 strategic support locations and an office in Dubai. During the past 25 years, Stellar has grown into a fully integrated firm in the food and beverage, commercial, office, automotive, educational, healthcare, institutional, hospitality and industrial markets.

Form-fill-seal packaging equipment supplier HayssenSandiacre, Duncan, S.C., said it promoted Mike May to executive vice president, a newly created post. Officials said May, vice president of sales and marketing, will become president in 2011 upon the retirement of President & CEO Daniel Jones.
