Tyler,Texas-based Brookshire Grocery Co. sealed a deal with Lufkin, Texas-based Brookshire Bros. to manufacture Goldenbrook Ice Cream for all 74 of its stores located across Texas and Louisiana. Brookshire Bros. will carry Goldenbrook ice cream, frozen yogurt and sherbet in half-gallon and pint sizes in more than 14 flavors, including Homeade Vanilla, Chocolate, Cookies N Crème, Buttered Pecan and Rocky Road.

The partnership came after several years of BGC’s dairy plant manufacturing private label milk for Brookshire Bros. Currently Brookshire Brothers and BGC are the only retailers to carry the Goldenbrook Farms label.

Goldenbrook Ice Cream will be available in Brookshire Bros. stores beginning early April.
