BLAST FREEZING SYSTEM

Providing a controlled airflow at a constant high velocity across the product zone, IJ White Ultra Series spiral blast freezing systems uniformly freeze products in pouches and trays and directly on the belt on continuous production lines; an extended protection system provides automated pressurization balancing that removes moisture from infiltrating air before it can accumulate as frost or ice on the freezing coils. The enclosure features 5-inch-thick urethane wall and ceiling panels, and is available in stainless steel, embossed or enamel finishes. A factory-tested, pre-wired control center provides complete system diagnostics. The complete system is PLC controlled for 24/7 production.

Equally effective with either liquid carbon dioxide or liquid nitrogen, the unit provides direct cryogen injection at the freezer tunnel entrance for quick crust-freezing. Short individual belt flights gently tumble foods for reduced fines and freezing on all surfaces. The vertical doors on both sides of the freezer swing out of the way to allow open access to the interior. The freezer can be used with a variety of food products, including most seafood, meat portions, diced foods, vegetables, berries, pizza toppings, processed foods and cheese.
