Fire Prevention Solution
WAGNER Fire Safety, Inc., a Boston-based subsidiary of WAGNER Group, presented its OxyReduct active fire prevention system, an active—and what is said to be for the first time a preventive—means of technical fire protection. Case in point: it starts working BEFORE the fire even breaks out.
How it works: Nitrogen feeds into the protected area to create a constant fire-retardant atmosphere, so that fire can no longer start or spread. The unique OxyReduct system consists of a number of activated carbon canisters and compressors, constantly generating the required nitrogen onsite directly from the ambient air. This provides ideal proactive protection from the effects of fire, even for extremely large protected areas.
