Ideally suited for light duty thermoplastic belts with widths from several inches to 10 feet, Excalibur uses a holder, torsion-spring tensioning system and snap-on blade, which allows complete changeouts to occur in a matter of seconds. Meanwhile, the precision tensioner ensures optimal contact for minimal blade wear and unsurpassed cleaning performance. A metal detectable blue blade is available for food processing facilities that require metal detectable plastics in the food contact zone.

In addition, all food contact components are fabricated from USFDA-, USDA- and BISSC-approved materials.
