G.S. Gelato launches private label packaging option

G.S. Gelato & Desserts, Fort Walton Beach, Fla., added new clean label, clear gelato and sorbet pints to its store brand offerings.
The 16-fluid-ounce transparent jars are made with recyclable, BPA-free plastic and feature a resealable, screw-cap lid. Customers can choose from 17 flavors, including Espresso Toffee, Tahitian Vanilla and Tiramisu, and add their own design with an easy-to-use template.
“We are proud to offer store brands a distinctive new private label option that is highly recognized by consumers,” says Megi Sidley, director of business development. “Transparency in both nutritional information and packaging is in high demand for shoppers, as they look for quality products with no unnecessary ingredients. We believe this program will increase store brand loyalty, as consumers find a premium, clean label choice under their trusted store brand’s name on the freezer shelf.”
