Dessert bars for foodservice operations
Tyson Foodservice, Springdale, Ark., released new sweet combinations of its Bistro Collection dessert bars for foodservice.
Whether served as an ending to a meal or a sweet snack, the dessert bar tray is scored for either 12 or 16 pieces for operators to portion at a variety of price points and formats.
The Pecan Carmelita kind boasts sweet caramel wedged between layers of crunchy oats and covered with pecans, dark chocolate chunks and a delicate caramel drizzle.
S’mores Brownies feature rich, milk chocolate chunk brownie with marshmallows on a graham cracker crumb crust with a marshmallow drizzle and graham cracker sprinkle.
Brown Butter Bourbon Bars are a moist, brown butter bourbon cake layer studded with pecans and soaked in a bourbon syrup on a sea salt butter cookie crumb crust.
And, the Peanut Butter Chocolate Layer Bar is a decadent peanut butter cookie crumb crust layered with a dark chocolate brownie studded with chocolate chunks, topped with creamy peanut butter mousse and rich dark chocolate drizzle.
The bars are delivered frozen and boast a 365-day shelf life frozen, 7-day shelf life refrigerated and 3-day shelf life stored at room temperature.
