Ben E. Keith taps ESI Group to build Greenfield DC

Continued growth in this region made the 80-plus-acre site mutually beneficial for the city and Ben E. Keith.

Ben E. Keith, Fort Worth, Texas, tapped ESI Group USA, Hartland, Wis., to build its new 563,000-square-foot Greenfield food distribution center.

Continued growth in this region made the 80-plus-acre site mutually beneficial for the city and Ben E. Keith, a broadline food and beverage distributor. The new facility is expected to bring an estimated 700 jobs to the area. 

“We at Ben E. Keith believe that you get what you pay for, and [we do that] by using tilt walls, all concrete surface parking and higher grade construction materials that stand the test of time,” says Roy Markham, vice president of operations and transportation. “We take great pride in our facilities, and make them ‘show’ places, which helps create first-class operations, impressing our customers, sales representatives and associates.”

Their company vision, mission and core values are complimentary to ESI’s,” adds Brad Barke, president of ESI Group. “This facility will utilize the most energy efficient systems available, which will minimize Ben E. Keith’s carbon footprint for years to come.”
