Hopper trailer opener improves safety, productivity
Arnold Co., Trenton, Ill., introduced a lightweight, handheld and flexible device to open truck trailer hopper gates/traps safely and efficiently.
The patent pending Door Demon hopper trailer opener (HTO) features a combination of torque, speed and weight specifically designed for hopper trailers.
A unique shaft and socket design prevents detachment while allowing the three interchangeable trailer sockets to be switched out within seconds. The HTO comes standard with three socket assemblies that open the majority of trailers. The unit also boasts a lever mechanism to manually lock the shaft when needed. Being air powered, it is ideal for dusty environments.
