PUB-STYLE, BEER-BATTERED FROZEN SEAFOOD PRODUCTS
SeaPak launched a line of SeaPak Pub Style Beer Battered items, available in select U.S. supermarket chains nationwide. SeaPak Pub Style Beer Battered Cod, which comes in a 12-ounce package, is made with high-quality, long-line, wild-caught cod filet certified by the Marine Stewardship Council. The Beer Battered Crab Poppers, which come in an 11-ounce package that includes 3 ounces of citrus tartar sauce, are produced using wild-caught blue swimming crab certified by the National Fisheries Institute’s Crab Council. And, the Beer Battered Shrimp, sold in a 9-ounce, pub-style package, consists of tail-on shrimp that are 3-star Best Aquaculture Practices (BAP) certified.

PRE-SLICED KOSHER DELI MEAT
Hain Celestial’s Empire Kosher poultry brand introduced pre-sliced Natural Southwest Style and Peppered Turkey deli meats in resealable packaging. These deli meats are free from antibiotics, growth hormones and steroids, and come from humanely-raised flocks on family farms that are fed non-GMO-certified organic grains. The kosher products are available at select retailers nationwide.
HALAL-CERTIFIED SLICED DELI MEAT
Deli Halal introduced a new line of halal-certified sliced deli meats, available in mainstream supermarket chains such as Giant Food Stores and Stop & Shop Supermarkets throughout New England and much of the East Coast. Halal follows strictly monitored practices that adhere to Islamic religious principles and emphasize the humane treatment of animals. It also regulates preparation processes. The line includes Beef Pastrami, Corned Beef, Roast Beef, Beef Salami and All Natural Turkey Breast.
GMO-FREE PORK OFFERINGS
Raley’s partnered with American Homestead Pork to offer several varieties of non-GMO and antibiotic-free fresh pork. These high-quality meat products come from animals never given antibiotics or growth promotants, raised cage-free in open spaces and fed non-GMO vegetables and grains grown by neighboring families in nearby farms.
