The Global Cold Chain Alliance (GCCA), Alexandria, Va., and United Fresh Produce Association, Washington, D.C., present Global Cold Chain Expo 2019, to be held June 10-12 at Chicago’s McCormick Place.

Global Cold Chain Expo 2019 is said to be the only event where businesses gather to find solutions and share best practices for managing the complexities of the perishables supply chain. Attendees gain a high level of brand recognition and targeted business development opportunities in front of key buying audiences that produce, handle, store, transport or are involved in the distribution of perishable products and looking to optimize their supply chain and/or improve facility operations. Exhibitors will showcase the latest solutions to ensure quality control throughout the cold chain from field to table, and innovations in fresh and better-for-you foods, produce and new technologies in harvesting, development and merchandising. And, the show floor will consist of decision-makers and innovators from retail, foodservice, processing, production, distribution, logistics and transportation representing refrigerated, frozen, ambient and fresh operations.

“Over the past four years, we’ve focused on growing and expanding the Global Cold Chain Expo to become the No. 1 destination where logistics and food come together with an intention to improve cold chain management throughout the supply chain,” says Corey Rosenbusch, president and CEO, GCCA. “In addition to our expo, our educational program also gets stronger every year, as we bring the right people together under one roof to solve the industry’s challenges. Supply chain managers at food companies and warehouses and anyone involved in the construction, maintenance and design of food facilities need to be at this show to learn, share ideas and network.”

The all-access package provides attendees and exhibitors with the ultimate show experience—networking opportunities and special events to interact with key customers, suppliers and colleagues, as well as admittance to both the Global Cold Chain and United Fresh Expos. This all-encompassing pass also includes access to all education programs, the post-conference happy hour, the after-hours reception and all expo events.

“Global Cold Chain Expo continues to be a dynamic partner of United Fresh,” says Tom Stenzel, president and CEO, United Fresh Produce Association. “Our industry relies on the security of a continuous cold chain to guarantee that safe products are delivered to the marketplace. The expo effectively showcases new technologies that bring our growers, packers and wholesalers closer to the consumer, enhancing quality control in our supply chain.”

Meanwhile, the cutting-edge educational programming complements the tradeshow experience, both on and off the show floor. The four education tracks cover topics such as warehouse operations, transportation, engineering and construction and global supply chain, and provides attendees an in-depth look at specific business challenges and opportunities managers face in the perishable supply chain.
