Tray-sealing specialist Proseal has launched a tray-positioning system that calculates the required tray spacing set-up parameters for individual tray sealing tool-sets, eliminating the trial-and-error usually associated with this process. The new patent-pending ProPosition feature automatically identifies the best position for trays, to ensure the perfect alignment every time.

Pregis, a leading manufacturer of innovative protective packaging products, has donated more than 5,000 Penguin Pack insulated box liners to Lakeview Pantry, Chicago’s largest food pantry. The donation enabled thousands of senior citizens, and other homebound individuals, to safely receive packages of healthy, fresh groceries through the Pantry’s Home Delivery program.

My/Mo Mochi Ice Cream announces its newest innovation, the single-serve and two-pack packaging designs, are now patent-pending. The patent-pending application covers single fully enclosed mochi ice cream containers, two-pack mochi ice cream containers among others.

Kashi, a pioneer in natural foods, debuts new protein-packed waffles under its GO line of products. Available in three flavors, Wild Blueberry, Cinnamon Brown Sugar and Vanilla Buttermilk, the waffles deliver double-digit protein, single-digit sugar and 100% whole grains per serving. The new waffles will be available nationwide at Walmart, Amazon, Ahold, Food Lion, Giant Eagle, Hannaford, HEB, Market Basket, Shoprite and Woodmans, with additional stores coming later this year.
