The food and beverage industry is in the midst of a building boom, with dozens of new plants and cold storage facilities currently under construction.

The first-of-its kind report from the food giant was completed in partnership with sales data from NielsenIQ, in-home consumption behaviors from Circana's National Eating Trends, and in-depth social media trend predictors from Black Swan Data.

The 400,000-square-foot plant is expected to produce two million pounds a week of Jimmy Dean and Wright Brand bacon retail and foodservice products.
