This investment funds the construction of new facilities and the acquisition of new equipment for chicken boning and cooking, a new activity that will be added to the facility's existing production operations.

Olymel, Canada, invested $30 million to redevelop its Orenda poultry further processing plant in Brampton, Ontario, Canada, and to acquire a new plant (Westwyn), also located in Brampton.
The operation, currently scheduled to begin production mid-2019, will produce pre-packaged trays of fresh chicken for retail grocery stores nationwide.
