Martin-Brower Acquires Keystone Foods' Distribution, Logistics Units

The Martin-Brower Co. completed its purchase of certain assets of Keystone Foods' North American distribution businesses and acquired interests in its distribution and logistics units in Europe, the Middle East and Asia Pacific.


The Martin-Brower Co., LLC, Rosemont, Ill., completed its purchase of certain assets of Keystone Foods LLC’s North American distribution businesses and acquired interests in its distribution and logistics businesses in Europe, the Middle East and Asia Pacific from Marfrig Alimentos S.A.

The acquisition involves distribution operations in the United States, England, France, Australia, New Zealand, South Korea, Bahrain, United Arab Emirates, Kuwait and Qatar. As a result of this acquisition, Martin-Brower will become McDonald’s largest distributor worldwide.

“This is a great day for Martin-Brower, and a great opportunity to leverage our scale to deliver value for our customers with the aim of being McDonald’s most trusted and valued partner,” says Greg Nickele, chief executive officer of Martin-Brower.

Martin-Brower is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Reyes Holdings, LLC, a privately-owned food and beverage distribution provider that utilizes state-of-the-art routing and warehouse technology for distribution of food and beer brands.

Keystone Foods is a multi-national, multi-protein processor and food distributor based in West Conshohocken, Pa.
