Home Run Inn, Chicago’s “Premium Thin-Crust Pizza,” looks forward to a promising summer at Wrigley Field and Midway International Airport, two prominent Chicago partnerships in entertainment and travel, as well as new frozen pizza packaging.

As part of a five-year Chicago Cubs partnership, Home Run Inn will launch co-branded frozen pizza boxes available from June through August at select Illinois, Indiana and Wisconsin retail locations. Each box will include a code to enter for a chance to win the “Ultimate Chicago Cubs Experience:” a $500 gift card to the Cubs Store; eight tickets to a Cubs home game; eight customized Cubs jerseys; and eight customized marquee photos.

The family-owned brand is also a fixture at Chicago Midway International Airport. Home Run Inn sales are up 25% in the first quarter of this year at Midway as air travel picks up again.

Throughout the pandemic, Home Run Inn has ramped up frozen pizza production, making more than 100,000 pizzas a day during peak demand at its manufacturing facility in Woodridge, Illinois. Sales have increased 17% nationally since last year and the company remains the number-one selling frozen pizza in the Chicagoland area.

Along with the increase in production comes a redesign of the frozen pizza boxes, a new look within the last ten years, hitting retail shelves nationwide this month.

Another focus for the family-owned company throughout the challenging year has been giving back and supporting communities across Chicago. Home Run Inn has donated upwards of 60,000 pizzas, feeding an excess of 240,000 families in need, hospital workers and first responders.
