ARCO National Construction Expanding Performance Food Group’s Missouri Plant
The 55,000-square-foot expansion at facility serving customers in Missouri, Kansas, Iowa, Arkansas, Oklahoma and Nebraska.

ARCO National Construction recently celebrated the groundbreaking of an expansion project for repeat client Performance Food Group, an industry-leading food and foodservice distribution company.
The expansion will add more than 55,000 square feet of space to the company’s current facility, located at 290 SE Thompson Drive in Lee’s Summit, Missouri.
The project includes 34,458 square feet of dry warehouse space, an 8,755-square-foot, a -10-degree Fahrenheit freezer, 28-degree and 34-degree coolers totaling 8,099 square feet, and a 3,846-square-foot break room addition. The newly expanded facility will service customers in multiple states, including Missouri, Kansas, Iowa, Arkansas, Oklahoma and Nebraska.
The expansion is in response to Performance Food Group’s continued growth and need for additional capacity. Performance Food Group expects the project to create more local jobs, including positions for drivers, warehouse workers, office staff and sales associates.
ARCO and Performance Food Group have collaborated on more than 35 projects in multiple major markets nationwide.
