Pedestrian Crossing Gate
Waukesha, Wis.-based Wildeck, Inc. introduced SaferGate, an easy-field retrofit, self-closing swing gate that installs in minutes on new or existing Wilgard double or
triple guard rail columns. The new SaferGate can replace a 4-foot section of guard rail without modification to existing columns, and provides a 34-5/8-inch clear opening for pedestrian or cart traffic.
Designed to withstand more than 100,000 cycles, the self-closing gate design protects guard rail openings and reduces potential accidents. The SaferGate is painted with a highly visible safety yellow polyurethane finish that stands up to daily use.
