Tillamook County Creamery Association, Tillamook, Ore., released three new comforting and classicice cream flavors that play into the nostalgia associated with summer ice cream breaks—Salted Butterscotch, Malted Moo Shake and Cinnamon Horchata.
“We’re very pleased with the consumer response to new Tillamook ice cream flavors, in particular the Cinnamon Horchata,” says Sibel Candemir, ice cream category manager. “The beloved Mexican rice beverage inspired us to translate these unique flavors into creamy ice cream form, which we were confident our customers would love.”
The Salted Butterscotch kind consists of creamy butterscotch ice cream with a dash of sea salt and a butterscotch swirl.
Malted Moo Shake is arich, creamy malted ice cream with Madagascar vanilla and crunchy bits of milk chocolate.
And, Cinnamon Horchata is smooth, refreshing horchata ice cream with the sweet spice of cinnamon.
Tillamook’s new ice cream flavors boast a suggested retail price of $4.99-5.99 per 56-ounce container, available at major grocery retailers, including Fred Meyer, Safeway, Vons, Ralphs, Winco and Albertsons in the Pacific Northwest, California, Texas and Intermountain regions.
