Hänel Storage Systems, Pittsburgh, Pa., engineered the Hänel ColdCell to deliver reliable refrigeration in a vertical storage system.
Capable of maintaining a consistent temperature of 5°F, ColdCell is a specially constructed vertical carousel or vertical lift module designed to evenly distribute cooling air throughout the unit. Through a system of monitoring and alarms, the ColdCell records temperature data and alerts users to any discrepancies.
A refrigeration system with redundant condenser and compressor units can operate at 50% capacity for greater longevity. Each individual compressor is capable of maintaining the target temperature within the storage unit on its own for unparalleled reliability.
The ColdCell unit is encased in an insulated housing to maintain the desired temperature with minimal energy consumption.
