Air Technical Industries (ATI), Mentor, Ohio, developed a new, heavy duty mobile reversible crane with a unique triple section-powered telescoping boom.

The RBC-20000SPBW-TSB offers mobility, portability and a compact, narrow design. The cylinders are built inside the boom for protection. This heavy duty crane features a narrow 60-inch width and 90-degree powered steering to the left and right.

The crane also comes equipped with variable fingertip speed control at speeds up to 4 miles an hour. The crane has smooth acceleration and deceleration to prevent swinging a load, and an automatic parking brake engages when the crane is brought to a stop.

The unit is powered by a 48-volt industrial battery suitable for indoor and outdoor operation. The controls are push button pendant remote controls with a 40-foot-long cord to give operators agility and flexibility.

The lifting and telescoping boom action is hydraulically operated with overload protection and safety relief valves. The RBC cranes are available in smaller size and lighter capacities, including 1,000, 2,000, 3,000, 4,000, 6,000, 10,000 and 15,000 pounds.
