Schuman Cheese, San Francisco, expanded its Cello brand to include Copper Kettle Chisels.
These bite-size pieces of one-of-a-kind Copper Kettle Parmesan are crafted in copper vats for distinctive notes of cooked caramel, and deliver 9 grams of protein and only 110 calories per serving.
“The Cello brand is all about discovery, and about making high-quality, distinctive cheeses more approachable and accessible,” says Jim Low, executive vice president, sales and marketing. “When people see new products like our Copper Kettle Chisels in a convenient snack-friendly format, we think they’ll be intrigued to explore, just like music fans hitting play on a hot new track.”
“Nobody craves common, whether it’s music, art, design or cheese,” says Christophe Megevand, head cheesemaker. “The most rewarding discoveries are those that offer an entirely new way of experiencing something. It’s not a quest to be better, but a desire for distinction that ensures each of our Cello cheeses are tuned to perfection.”
The Cello product portfolio is set at $5.99 per unit per 6-ounce wedge and $4.99 per 5-ounce cup.
