Sabert Corp., Sayreveille, N.J., entered into a definitive agreement to acquire LBP Manufacturing LLC, a Cicero, Ill.-based producer of environmentally progressive and sustainable food and beverage packaging.

LBP combines innovation in material science, equipment and converting technology to develop sustainable, paper-based foodservice packaging. LBP maintains a global operating footprint with manufacturing facilities in the United States, Poland, and China.
