Bellisio Foods, the producer of frozen food brands including Michelina’s, Boston Market, EatingWell, Atkins, and Authentic Asia, is continuing to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic by supporting the fight against hunger in communities neighboring its production facility in Jackson, Ohio.

Recently, 100 volunteers from Bellisio Foods, the largest employer in Jackson County, shared more than 90,000 meals from drive-through distribution centers at Oak Hill High School, Jackson High School and Vinton County High School. A total of more than 2,500 vehicles each received two cases (or 36 meals), bringing the total number of meals donated to Southern Ohioans by Bellisio Foods in the past month to more than 175,000.

“Bellisio Foods is keenly aware of the staggering need for free meals throughout the country, and at the same time, heartened to be in a position to take action,” Mike Evans, Senior Vice President of Jackson Operations, Bellisio Foods. “We are committed to supporting our friends and neighbors in Southern Ohio.”
