Made from a combination of white meat turkey, black beans, whole grain rice and pepitas, these carefully selected and nutritious ingredients offer consumers the combined benefits of lean, meat-based and plant-forward protein (15g) and fiber (5g) in one tasty turkey burger.
Alpha Foods has made their plant-based Chik’n Nuggets accessible worldwide through a new partnership with KFC in Hong Kong. As part of KFC’s “New Era” plant-based series (which also includes Gardein's New Era chicken burger) the popular Alpha Nuggets are now available to carnivores and flexitarians alike at select locations across Hong Kong.
The report finds consumers are becoming conscious of the effects their diet has on the environment.

According to the 2019 Power of Meat Report, compiled by the Food Marketing Institute, Washington, D.C., and Foundation for Meat & Poultry Education & Research, Washington, D.C., eating meat is still the norm.

According to Euromonitor International’s health and nutrition survey, 21% of the surveyed global consumers are trying to limit their meat intake, driving sales of global meat substitutes to reach $23 billion by 2023.
