Lightlife, owned by Greenleaf Foods, announced two first-of-its-kind plant-based products: Plant-Based Chicken Tenders and Plant-Based Chicken Fillets. These items are the first refrigerated, fresh, breaded plant-based chicken products that are available in the market.

Sweet Earth announces their first ever Vegan Jumbo Hot Dogs and the new and improved Sweet Earth Awesome Burger 2.0 in the United States. Sweet Earth Vegan Jumbo Hot Dogs are made using a pea and potato protein base. The updated Sweet Earth Awesome Burger 2.0 will be the first plant-based burger on the market to use a mix of pea and fava in addition to hemp protein as its base. Raised & Rooted, Tyson Foods’ brand of plant protein products, is expanding its offerings with three new products to meet the increased demand for plant-based protein options. The new plant-based burger patties, Bratwurst and Italian sausages, and ground are available in the refrigerated section of grocery stores nationally.

Urban Farmer, a manufacturer of plant-based specialty dough products, announced that Steve Jungmann has been appointed President and Chief Executive Officer and will also serve on the Board of Directors. Mr. Jungmann succeeds John Keigher who is assuming the role of Chief Operating Officer after serving as the company’s Chief Executive Officer.
