Refrigerated & Frozen Foods catches up with Reser’s Fine Foods to find out how the company has expanded and enhanced its product lines and processing facilities since being featured on our January, 2012 cover.

Perfect Snacks, makers of fresh-from-the-fridge protein snacks, is giving customers across the country another reason to hit the fridge and enjoy the sunshine, this summer, with the launch of two, limited-edition flavors: Lemon Poppy Seed and Cherry Pie. Both flavors will be available online at perfectsnacks.com, and sold in a 12-bar Summer Variety Pack.

Marco Sweets & Spices, a craft ice cream company that creates culinary-inspired flavors rooted in a love for travel, debuts five flavors that celebrate diverse, global ingredients. A collaborative effort from food and beverage industry veterans Luke Christianson, Avery Henderson, Julian Plyter, a pastry veteran of Eleven Madison Park and founder of New York City’s Melt Bakery, and Spencer Joynt, partner and creative director at Alright Studio, Marco was founded to pay homage to beloved flavors from around the world, and transport them from plate to pint. 

Belcampo, pioneer of hyper-sustainable, organic, grass-fed and -finished, and Certified Humane meats, broths and jerky, has expanded its grocery presence into Metropolitan Market stores in Washington state. Local shoppers will be able to purchase Belcampo’s sausages, hot dogs, ground beef, and ground pork in all eight stores in the Pacific Northwest by the end of July.

Café Spice's internationally themed prepared meals--long enjoyed by grocery and specialty-market shoppers--are now available for home delivery across the United States in areas served by Amazon Fresh.   

RLS Logistics has received food safety certification through the British Retail Consortium Global Standard (BRCGS), garnering the highest AA rating for at every one of its five cold storage facilities and for its distribution network. BRCGS certification is an internationally recognized distinction awarded to companies in the food storage and distribution industries that meet BRC Standards of best practices for quality, hygiene, and product safety.
