The plant was Tetra Pak’s first in the United States, and today the 263,844-square-foot site includes a Global Information Technology hub, a Product Development Center, a Technical Training Center, a warehouse, a packaging material production factory and office space.

Open to both Tetra Pak employees and Tetra Pak customers, the center will facilitate robust in-person and virtual training across various topics and equipment lines, including operations, maintenance and quality control, covering everything from key components to processing and packaging to automation.
The Tetra PakBag Tipping unit CIP offers easy cleaning thanks to an ergonomic redesign, new configurable features, as well as added safety elements, all of which are not currently offered together in the U.S.
Tetra Pak has developed 14 new Best Practice Lines (BPLs) for cheese manufacturers, the latest of which is specifically customized for Cottage cheese, launched today. The other cheeses that will benefit from these BPLs include Mozzarella, Semi-hard cheese, Cheddar, and Fresh cheese production. Together, these cheese types make up 79% of all cheese volumes and have a CAGR forecast of 3% (2021-2025). Two of the new lines (Mozzarella and Cheddar) were recently previewed at the Global Cheese Expo (6-8 April).
