Pack, Wrap and Bag Vertically and Horizontally

July 22, 2013

WeighPack Systems Inc., Las Vegas, introduced the Breezy Bagger, a compact machine designed and built with a tilting function that allows users to pack, wrapWeighPack breezer bagger and bag many type of products both vertically and horizontally, at up to 30 packs per minute.

Designed specifically to package all types of shaped products into either a laminated or polyethylene material, this new bagger is flexible, versatile and easy to use.

The Breezy Bagger offers many technological benefits. For example, the unique pivoting function allows the machine to tilt from a horizontal position to almost vertical. The product being wrapped or bagged can be hand loaded or fed automatically with many types of ancillary machines and methods. The bag width and length are fully adjustable with no change parts and no forming shoulder and tube. The hand crank adjustment for pack width can adjust from 2 to almost 12 inches wide. The bag length can vary from 2 to 36 inches long.

Another unique feature is the length-sensing detection and operational logic. The Breezy Bagger detects the length of product and forms the bag according to the length of the product. Operators can feed a product of 6 inches long for a few minutes, and then feed a product 12 inches long with absolutely no adjustment. The other sequences of operation allow for a fixed bag length either above or below the seal jaws.

The Breezy Bagger uses state-of-the-art servo-driven technology for fast and precise adjustment as well as a user-friendly color touchscreen HMI. This multi-purpose Breezy Bagger can operate either automatically or semi-automatically, and comes complete with a foot pedal and auto cycling. Options include photo eye registration for printed film, gas flushing capabilities, auto infeed solutions and more.
