MID-SIZED SLICER FOR A VARIETY OF PRODUCTS

The new PowerMax3500 from Formax, a Provisur Technologies brand, is the ideal solution for slicing a variety of innovative products. This mid-sized slicer’s upper and lower infeed drives provide complete control over the product while offering up to three AccuPower independent drives, so the feed rate independently adjusts to each log’s variation to ensure better weight control of each portion. The PowerMax3500 features a standard 6x15-inch throat size, providing optimum slice consistency even when slicing large or heavy products, such as value-added 4x6-inch or D-shaped ham or turkey. The patented PowerScanner allows users to slice both natural and irregularly shaped products with unmatched accuracy to ensure maximum yields. Its center rear-loading system offers greater speed by design, and the lift system pivots product into the staging area below the slicing grip line as the previous logs are finished being sliced.

AUTO SPLICE SYSTEM FOR PACKAGING FILM

Tna’s robagAuto-splice system automatically splices film, thus increasing packaging efficiency and maximizing product throughput by reducing the need for manual intervention. The new Auto-splice head, coupled with a robagdual spindle film system, joins the start of a new pre-prepared roll of film to the end of an expiring roll. The film preparation is carried out while the machine is still running, with no interruption to the packaging process and no machine downtime. It’s also fully integrated with existing robagsoftware, which assists with the automatic reel change.

CRUMB-COATED SNACKS

Crisp Sensation Holding S.A.’s Crisp Sensation technology is now available to the U.S. market. This technical process for frozen and chilled crumb-coated snacks provides a “crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside” experience. Once re-heated, the product remains crisp and juicy for up to three hours in regular holding units. Suited for almost all fillings and processing methods, this patented technology allows for no leaking, bursting or discoloration. ?

APPLY ALL STYLES OF BREADING IN LESS SPACE

Heat and Control’s 90-inch long Micro Breader uniformly applies all styles of pre-dust, crumb and flake coatings to poultry, meat, vegetables and other foods. Automatic belt tensioning increases conveyor belt life, and top coverage and breading bed density are independently adjustable. Plus, interchangeable top hoppers and large clean-outs permit fast changeovers between free-flowing and non-free-flowing coatings.

SLICER WITH ISOLATED FOOD ZONE

Urschel unveiled the new Sprint 2Dicer, which builds on the technology of the DiversaCut Sprint Dicer combined with the footprint and similar infeed/discharge heights of the Model G. Accepting an infeed product up to 6.5 inches in any dimension, this dicer offers a stainless-steel sanitary design throughout with the food zone completely isolated from the mechanical zone. It produces a full complement of dices, slices, strips and granulations for vegetables, fruits, meats, seafood and more. Standard components involve a new dial-in slice knob to lock in close tolerances; a compact cutting zone that smoothly transitions cut product to attain increased cut quality; cutting parts that can be easily removed and replaced; and lubrication points that are fully accessible on the exterior of the machine.
