Farm to Table announced plans to open a warehouse and office in the Houston, Texas, area come September.
Farm to Table is an Austin, Texas-based distributor of locally grown fruits and vegetables to restaurants, schools and independent grocery stores and commercial kitchens. Farm to Table expanded to the Dallas market in July 2015.
The expansion will include the addition of a 6,000-square-foot warehousespacious enough to serve all of Farm to Table’s current and growing list of Houston clients. Farm to Table will deliver six days a week to areas concentrated inside and around the 610 Loop in Houston. Clients include Tacodeli, Snap Kitchen, which sells healthy cook-at-home meals; and Snooze, a Denver-based restaurant that emphasizes breakfast.
Currently, Farm to Table works with Texas-based farms such as Gundermann Acres, Animal Farm, Diiorio Farms, Theiss Farms, Cooper Farms, Honey Doe Farm & Creamery and Lightsey Farms, and sources products from vendors such as Mill-King Market & Creamery, Vital Farms, 44 Farms, Strube Ranch, Capra Lamb and Texas Quail Farms.
