PreScouter, Chicago, released a report uncovering the newest personalized packaging technologies.
“For the modern consumer, the shopping experience is becoming much more than simply acquiring a product — people are looking for a way to connect with products and brands based on their opinions, thoughts and way of life,” says Dr. Marija Jovic, senior project architect. “It is therefore not surprising to see the demand for tailored products growing, and companies are actively looking for ways to create packaging that speaks to consumers as individuals.”
The report details six recent personalized packaging campaigns run by leading consumer packaged goods (CPG) companies, and profiles 10 companies offering personalized/custom packaging solutions.
One major trend is the transition toward more personalized/custom packaging in new product portfolios that are starting to emerge.
