Track-and-trace GPS technology
TydenBrooks, Atlanta, partnered with GeoTech, India, to launch GeoBolt, a patented electronic track-and-trace technology that monitors location, including geo-fencing, and offers real-time alerts as well as visual tamper evidence if and when tampering occurs.
The GeoBolt transmits information to the GeoSmart global platform using its GSM Network communication abilities along with its embedded GPS technology.
This product can be used in a wide variety of applications, including truck, container and rail cargo transport. The ultra-resistant ABS plastic housing offers top-of-the-line protection for the reusable devise. The one-time-use bolt is a high-security bolt that is ISO 17712: 2013 and C-TPAT-compliant, making it secure and flexible for local, national, cross-border and international shipments.
The GeoBolt offers a long-lasting rechargeable battery, and sends alerts on a timed schedule. All alerts are tracked and stored in real-time, so the location of cargo is always known, and the exact point and time of tampering can be seen. If the GeoBolt happens to lose its wireless signal, it stores up to 2,000 reports, which can be immediately uploaded to the system when the connection is reestablished.
The GeoBolt device is fully integrated with GeoSmart, the web platform specifically developed for this product with the state-of-the-art programming language, Ruby on Rails. This system is supported by Oracle, and hosted on Rackspace.
